Cassidy’s Pub and Restaurant in Carron is located on the edge of The Burren in North County Clare.
It is just a three minute walk to the top of The Burren and the restaurant overlooks  Carron Turlough and the unique landscape of The Burren. This restaurant near The Burren is an ideal stop for visitors exploring this unique landscape.

This pub/restaurant has been operating for over 200 years and the current building was originally a RIC barracks and subsequently a Garda Barracks until 1955.

The Food

Starters include Homemade Soups, Goats Cheese Tartlet, Garlic Bread with Mozarella Cheese.
Mains include various salads, smoked salmon and some of their own unique dishes like The Hungry Herdsman, The Drunken Drover, The Dolmen, Goat Burger,  and The Mullach More.
Many of these really tasty dishes can only be got at Cassidy’s and it is worth visiting for them alone.

They also have daily specials depending on the availability of fresh fish and other produce.

Cassidy’s also serve brick oven pizzas and a good selection of desserts.

The pub is a lively spot where you will regularly hear a traditional music session.
