Clare is located on the west coast of Ireland and is largely an area of rugged natural beauty. It is blessed with a long coastline, partly on the Atlantic Ocean and partly on the Shannon Estuary.
The county contains two of Ireland’s most spectacular natural features, The Cliffs of Moher and The Burren which are among Ireland’s most visited attractions.

Clare is famous for its love of traditional Irish music, culture and the game of hurling.
Visitors will also enjoy other outdoor activities including hill walking, surfing, fishing, golf and lots more.
The county has its own airport, Shannon Airport, which has been receiving international visitors since he 1940s.

One of Clare’s most well known landmarks is Bunratty Castle which is now famous for its medieval banquets.
